As your editor, I often receive requests relating to unusual coverages that agents need to find. A recent request centers on meetings of Alcoholics Anonymous and the organizations within that help guide it.

One gathering regards a monthly meeting of representatives from area AA meetings. They meet 10-11 times per year (once a month with one or two dark months) with an average attendance of about twenty. The meetings last for one hour. They meet in a church and are seeking a very basic general liability policy for their meetings.

Ideally the policy would extend to two additional meetings per year that would be considered special events. These are area workshops, also held in a church, that take place on a Saturday morning twice per year. Each one is less than 100 in attendance and entails round table discussions in a large room.

This group is based in Ventura County of Southern California.
