Applied Systems Client Network (ASCnet), the user group for Storefront Owner Applied Systems http://www.programbusiness.com/tracking/sftracker.asp?Sfid=140 agency technology, announced that its 19th Annual Technology, Education and Networking Conference, or TENCon, to be held October 5-9 in Orlando, will feature a myriad of new and innovative educational sessions, with record agent/broker attendance expected. “This years TENCon, with a theme of ‘Catch the Wave in Orlando, promises to be one of this years largest fall events for independent agents and brokers,” said ASCnet President Stu Durland, vice president and co-owner of Seely & Durland, Inc., in Warwick, NY. “Were expecting record attendance.” (Durland noted that the recent hurricanes in Florida havent spoiled the event; no damage is reported at the conference site, Disneys Coronado Springs Resort, or Animal Kingdom Park, site of the ASCnet TENCon Theme Night Party.) Sixty-three different educational sessions – with tracks for agency owners, principals and managers, IT systems managers, CSRs, bookkeepers and accountants, and vision management systems – will include change management; agency systems security; hiring, training and motivating producers; imaging options and considerations; marketing workflows; mergers and acquisitions; accounting reconciliations; and dozens more to allow attendees to maximize their technology investment. Durland said attendees will benefit from discovering the latest technology trends; learning about new product offerings and upgrades; and interacting with Applieds senior leadership. New products and services also will be available in the sold-out trade show demo area, the TENCon Exchange, offering attendees the opportunity to demo products, make support appointments, and see whats new for the independent agent and broker. The conference also will feature a drawing for the cash equivalent of a two-year lease on a Chrysler PT Cruiser, as well as a theme-night event at Disneys Animal Kingdom Park. The featured keynote speaker at this years event will be Rob Morton from the Disney Institute. For more information on the conference or to register, visit http://www.ascnet.org/conference.
