Please welcome The Plus Companies to the PB.com Storefront community.

The Plus Companies have always endeavored to make excellence elementary. From the complex to the mundane, they have never aspired to, nor accepted anything but the pursuit of excellence in all that they do. By devoting their efforts exclusively to the professional liability marketplace, they have systematically accomplished this goal.

Their first professional liability program was established in 1985 amidst difficult times for the insurance community. Specifically, the program through CIGNA represented the only facility issuing new Lawyers Professional Liability policies during that time period in the State of Florida. Comprehension of and dedication to sound underwriting principles, then and now, has enabled them to select and write superior firms regardless of market cycles.

The years that followed ushered in other professional liability programs in conjunction with various leading insurance companies. The array of professional disciplines have included Architects, Engineers, Insurance Agents and Brokers, Surplus Lines and Specialty Brokers, Title Insurance and Escrow Agents, and a variety of other miscellaneous classes. Their insurance company partners currently include the General Star and AIG Group of insurance companies.

Corporately they have grown from a small regional agency, to a countrywide underwriting manager licensed and operating in forty-eight states. They currently maintain offices in New Jersey, Florida, and Washington, D.C.
